FOR 8-17 YEAR OLDS

Are You Ready to Rock Out and Make Some Noise?

Welcome to our Fun Band Programme for Kids—the ultimate space where young musicians come alive, get loud, and discover the magic of playing in a real band! Whether your child is a budding drummer, a guitar hero, a keyboard wizard, or a future pop star, this programme is their chance to shine on stage, learn essential musical skills, and most importantly—have an absolute blast!

Designed for kids aged 8–17, our band programme is all about hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration. No boring lectures here—this is music in action! From the very first session, kids are grouped into real bands, where they’ll explore a variety of musical styles, instruments, and techniques in a fun, supportive environment.

Please note: To get the most out of the experience, students should have at least one year of prior tuition on their chosen instrument (including vocals). This ensures everyone in the group can jam confidently and contribute to the band’s success.

What They’ll Learn:

Throughout the programme, kids will dive into the exciting world of modern music and band performance. Our experienced mentors guide them through:

  • Chord charts & song structures – learn how popular songs are built

  • Band arrangements & harmony – discover how instruments and voices work together

  • Band roles & group dynamics – understand what makes a band successful

  • Songwriting & improvisation – create original music as a team

  • Performance skills & stage presence – own the spotlight with confidence!

From pop and rock to funk and indie, kids will get a taste of different genres while learning the practical skills needed to play, rehearse, and perform in a band setting.

A Programme Full of Fun & Creativity

It’s not all serious rehearsals—we make sure every session is packed with interactive games, musical challenges, and creative activities that spark imagination and keep the vibe fun and exciting. Our goal is to help every child:

  • Improve communication and teamwork

  • Develop musicianship and listening skills

  • Express themselves through music

  • Form real friendships with other young creatives

The Grand Finale – Live at BackBeat Bar!

Every band works toward an epic end-of-term performance at the iconic BackBeat Bar, where they’ll get to rock the stage in front of friends and family. It’s a real gig experience—complete with lights, sound, and cheering fans! This final concert is the perfect way for kids to showcase their hard work and feel the thrill of live performance.

Who Can Join?

Kids aged 8–17 with at least one year of experience on their instrument are welcome to join.
