Band quest 2024
Rockshop Bandquest is Aoteaora’s live music event for Primary and Intermediate aged school students. In its fourteenth year, the programme annually hosts hundreds of young bands in venues throughout the country.
The Auckland Heat's took place at Takapuna's Bruce Mason Centre, with Eliette's Music Academy students featuring throughout the week representing their schools.
From Pop to Rock, to RNB and Hip Hop, this was an amazing opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents and hard work with their school bands!
Amongst many highlights for the week, a couple of special mentions go out to Shaira (St Ignatius EMA Student) for taking out the Rocking Drummer Award and Tommy (EMA Songwriting Student) for taking out the Rock-Solid Bassist Award, both at the Greater Auckland Heat. Congrats team!!
