Exciting News: Eliette's Music Academy is Coming to Botany Town Centre!
Eliette's Music Academy (EMA), Auckland's leading contemporary, performance-focused music school, is expanding! We are thrilled to announce that we’re opening a new location at Botany Town Centre, launching with Term 1's School Holiday Programmes on April 14, followed by weekly music lessons starting in Term 2.
Since its humble beginnings in 2016, when Eliette opened a small shop near Albany Village, EMA has grown into a vibrant community of music lovers and aspiring musicians. With an unwavering belief in her vision and a deep passion for music, Eliette created a space where students could not only explore their musical talents but also grow, learn, and thrive.
In 2022, the academy expanded into Grafton in partnership with longtime teacher and business partner, Nick Douch. Fast forward to today, and Eliette’s Music Academy now serves over 1,000 students each week. We offer a broad range of music lessons both onsite and at schools and community centres across Auckland. EMA’s rapid growth and positive impact on the local community were recognised at the 2024 North Harbour Business Awards, where Eliette was honoured with the prestigious Young Business Person of the Year award.
What We Offer: World-Class Music Education for All Ages
At EMA, we believe in nurturing the musical potential in everyone, from toddlers to adults. Our programmes include everything from early childhood music classes to rocking bands. Here’s a glimpse of what we offer:
Music Rhapsody: A fantastic program designed for children as young as 2 years old. This early childhood music programme allows kids to discover, create, and develop essential musical skills while having fun. Music Rhapsody is a wonderful introduction to music for children up to the age of 6.
Simply Music Piano: A unique, method-based piano program that allows students to start playing real pieces of music right from the first lesson.
Musical Futures: This group program covers a variety of instruments, from drums and guitar to keyboards and bass, encouraging students to work together and build confidence in their abilities.
Musical Theatre, Songwriting & Music Production: For students who want to take their skills to the next level, EMA offers classes that explore musical theatre performance, songwriting techniques, and the world of music production.
Private Lessons: We offer one-on-one lessons in a variety of instruments including Singing, Drums, Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Ukulele & Bass), Saxophone, and Violin.
More Than Just Lessons: A Community of Musicians
At Eliette's Music Academy, we understand the power of music to bring people together. That’s why we offer band programs, adult choirs, and frequent performance opportunities throughout the year. In 2024 alone, EMA students performed at over 30 events, showcasing their talents and building a supportive, creative community.
The Green Room: Our Charitable Initiative
We’re also deeply committed to giving back. Our charitable initiative, The Green Room, takes music into hospitals and health centers, while also supporting young people’s mental health through specially designed musical programs.
