January Band Programmes

Our school holiday band programmes were in full force this summer, with over 50 students taking part across both the Albany and Grafton Campus’s.

Band programmes are an amazing opportunity for students to take their skills learnt during their lessons and develop them even further by playing with other musicians, with even the simplest of songs bringing new challenges in a group setting. From timing to dynamics and performance, it has been amazing to see our young musicians take their skills to a whole new level, all while playing music they love with likeminded students and forming new bonds and friendships through music!

There was such a variety of music coming from the band rooms including Nirvana, Gorillaz, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gnarls Barkley & Imagine Dragons (to name a few).

We can’t wait for our weekly bands to return in 2023 and to have even more of you join us again for our Term 1 Holiday Programmes in April!
