Live q&a - Michael Murphy

In late 2022, EMA Directors Eliette and Nick sat down for a chat with New Zealand musician Michael Murphy. 

Michael and Nick have known each other for close to half their lives, with their former bands performing together on a number of occasions, and they continue to do so now with their bands Written By Wolves and Ekko Park. 

Michael's career is an inspiring one. He is a great example of how you can make a full time career in music through multiple avenues in the industry..from playing in bands, to musical theatre, to writing and recording for others, he has been able to make a life out of music, something that  so many of our students aspire to do.
