In 2019, Branden joined his first band that toured and performed around the country. During this time, he gained experience recording in studios, developed his ability to play to a click track, and further honed his songwriting skills. In 2022, he co-founded his current band, The Boondocks. Since then, he has toured extensively across both the North and South Islands, performed at festivals such as Meatstock and Soundsplash, and recorded drums for both an EP and a full-length album.
